Who we are

Task Force 22:00 is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a mission-driven, non-clinical community dedicated to reducing veteran suicide and improving the lives of those who’ve served. Named in recognition of the staggering statistic—22 veteran suicides per day—we are committed to changing that number, one life at a time.

WHAT WE DO

Task Force 22:00 provides free support services for veterans, including one-on-one consultations, VA benefits assistance, firearm safety guidance, recreational activities, and clinical or non-clinical referrals—all designed to connect veterans with the resources, community, and support they need to thrive beyond their military service.

how we do it

We’re veterans helping veterans by building a strong network supported by mentors, mental health professionals, veteran organizations, NGO community foundations, the VA, and dedicated volunteers—creating a trusted system of understanding, respect, support, and belonging where veterans can rediscover their purpose, contribute to veteran safety, and get connected with VA programs and resources.

Meet the Team

  • Army Veteran | Veteran Advocate | Nonprofit Leader

Miguel is a proud U.S. Army Veteran and former member of the elite Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) community. He served three combat deployments as an Infantryman—twice with the 3rd Ranger Battalion and once with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is a graduate of the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program (RASP), formerly known as the Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP), as well as the Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course (RSLC). Miguel brings with him a deep foundation of discipline, leadership, and commitment to service.

While on active duty, Miguel earned his Bachelor's degree and later completed a Master's in Public Administration after transitioning out of the military. He went on to work as a state employee, where he supported and managed grant-funded programs, gaining valuable experience in navigating funding requirements, program evaluation, and compliance.

Miguel is deeply committed to addressing the veteran suicide crisis, where an average of 22 veterans take their lives each day. He believes that the only way to shift this number is from within the veteran community itself. A movement is underway—and Task Force 22:00 was created to give veterans another formation. The training doesn’t stop because your service has ended; the only thing that’s changed is the training ground.

Through Task Force 22:00, Miguel leads efforts to build connection, purpose, and resilience among those who’ve served—ensuring that no one is left behind.
